Silopi Exhibition

The opening was held at Women’s Park on March 8, with the participation of Mayor Jiyan Ormanlı and Director of Women’s Policies Evin Hasanoğlu. The exhibition, which remained open for five days, attracted significant interest from the people of Silopi. Moving beyond the traditional viewer-artwork relationship of a classic art exhibition, it was transformed into interactive sessions. The solidarity shown to Yazidi refugees between 2014 and 2016 was remembered. In addition, the exhibition space hosted forums where social gender norms were discussed.
